A dental filling is used to repair damage or missing portions of the tooth after drilling away natural tooth structure to treat decay. We use tooth-colored composite resin to fill the teeth because this biocompatible material blends in with your natural smile and is mercury-free. We can preserve more of the natural tooth structure compared to amalgam fillings and they harden instantly.
A dental crown is used to protect a tooth that has been damaged, decayed, broken, or weakened by covering all sides of the tooth with strong and durable materials. Crowns can restore a tooth that has been damaged or cover up cosmetic problems with a tooth. Teeth with large fillings or that have undergone root canal treatment are more vulnerable to breakage and need to be protected.
When tooth decay is left untreated, it travels into the deeper layers of the tooth. Once decay reaches the dental pulp, it causes inflammation and infection which can be painful. The infection needs to be treated by removing the infected pulp and roots and filling it with a special material to save the tooth from extraction. Tooth infections do not go away on their own and can cause serious health problems and spread to the other teeth if left untreated.
A partial denture replaces one or a few missing teeth in an arch to restore smile aesthetics and tooth functionality, and prevent the teeth from shifting. Much like a dental bridge, it fills in the gaps in the smile, but partial dentures can fill in spaces on both sides of the mouth with one denture. They are also removable instead of fixed and are held in place by metal clasps that hook around the abutment teeth.
A full denture is used to treat severe tooth loss when most of the teeth in the mouth are missing. An impression is taken of your mouth to create a custom-fit denture that replaces all of the teeth. Your remaining teeth will first need to be extracted. After trying on some dentures set in wax, we will make adjustments until your official denture has been created. This is held in place through suction and can restore a patient’s ability to chew, speak clearly, and feel confident in their smile.
Dental implants are a permanent, natural-looking solution to missing teeth. By filling the empty space that is left when a tooth falls out, implants prevent misalignment and stop remaining teeth from shifting, keeping your original smile intact. Since implants are a permanent solution, you won’t need to worry about removing them when you brush, floss, eat, drink or sleep. You deserve to be comfortable during everyday activities, and implants give you the ability to live your life just as you would with your natural teeth.
Implants are durable and long-lasting, so you’ll be able to smile confidently long after your treatment. Dr. Liu is an expert at dental implant procedures, having placed thousands in the last few years alone. When you get an implant from him, you’ll have peace of mind knowing it was skillfully placed.
Whatever your anxiety level is, we have an option for you.

In most cases, yes. Many insurance plans cover medically necessary restorative treatments such as:
Coverage varies by plan, and many policies only cover a percentage of the cost, leaving the remaining balance as an out-of-pocket expense. Treatments considered cosmetic, such as veneers, bonding done for appearance, or cosmetic gum reshaping, are usually not covered by insurance. Because every plan is different, the best way to know your exact coverage is to have our team verify your benefits and provide a detailed estimate before beginning treatment.
